2003

18 October

After three years long exercises by the DEREVO system Adam Read, our student from Australia performed his solo work. It's very good! Seems that he will appear on stage in the next DEREVO production. Along with Yael Karavan from Israel as well. She started training with Anton Adasinsky in 1998. We are very glad to see their "good fanaticism" as well as the success they have had. Their next task is watching the DEREVO video-archive. For one year they must study all the DEREVO works, learn the roles, dances, pantomimes etc.

We've had to sort out 428 cassetes. We couldn't stop ourselves from watching the videos. A project "Mayak" (light-house) made in Vienna was found. It was a collaboration with SHAUBUDE Wien company, guys who had AIDS or HIV.

After time, theses old records thoroughly cleanse the body and remind us once again of forgotten things.

Very soon there will be the new page at DEREVO.org – "Web Site Story" where you will be able to read letters-feelings-shouts-opinions-and-doubts of all who went hot and cold and who rushed to the computer keyboards after seeing DEREVO creative works.

Conversation in the café *

Anton (seeing the waitress): Look, she's a new one here.
Lena: Yes… there's absolutely no time to read a Bible.

* Answer to the riddle is in the chapt.1, verse 10. Upside down.
